Exhibit Debut a SuccessAfter months of exciting preparations, the Food for Thought traveling exhibit launched this past weekend!  On June 5 and 6, the exhibit visited Conner Prairie’s Indiana Festival where 638 visitors took a historical and contemporary look at Indiana’s food culture.  Weather was no issue for the exhibit in the big red barn and Hoosiers of all ages had the opportunity to see, touch, taste, and hear about food through artifacts, images, and hands-on learning tools.  The bravest of the bunch even volunteered to tell their own food stories at the oral history booth.

Be sure to check out the exhibit next weekend as it heads to the Broad Ripple Farmers Market on Saturday, June 12, in celebration of “Visit Your Farmers’ Market Saturday!”  To see where the exhibit is headed next, be sure to take a look at the schedule here.
