Beth serves as Indiana Humanities’ Office Manager and Development Associate, working to make the rest of the team’s work a little easier from day to day. Her responsibilities include caring for the lovely Meredith Nicholson House, administrative assistance, database work and assisting with grants management.

A fundraiser by profession and self-proclaimed philanthropy nerd, Beth is excited to support Indiana Humanities in both grantmaking and fundraising. She holds master’s degrees in nonprofit management and philanthropic studies from Indiana University (IUPUI) and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of William and Mary.

Originally from New York, Beth now proudly calls herself a Hoosier. Her prior jobs have focused on the connection between people and the environment – from park ranger in South Dakota, to Peace Corps environmental educator in Jamaica, to serving as a fundraiser for Keep Indianapolis Beautiful.

She is currently a volunteer board member for the Indianapolis Women’s Chorus.
