Register for the 2023 National Humanities Conference

Indiana Humanities, in partnership with the Federation of State Humanities Councils and the National Humanities Alliance, has announced that registration is now open for the National Humanities Conference, which will take place in Indianapolis Oct. 25-29.

The conference will bring together approximately 800 humanities scholars, professionals and practitioners from all over the country to collaborate on inclusive ways to boost public engagement with the humanities. The event will present opportunities to have conversations with area writers, musicians, historians and poets, enjoy local food and explore meaningful places and recreational spaces.

The conference is generously supported by Lilly Endowment as the Lead Partner; Lumina Foundation and The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites as Diamond Partners; The Fundraising School at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art as a Platinum Partner; and Visit Indiana, Butler University, Central Indiana Community Foundation, Indiana University Research and Indiana University Presidential Arts and Humanities Program as Gold Partners.
