Arab Indianapolis: A Hidden History, an official selection of the 31st annualĀ Heartland International Film Festival, features IUPUI professor and historian Dr. Edward E. Curtis IV as he explores stories of Arab Americans across Indianapolis through food, health, religion and more. Following the screening of the hour-long film, a community discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Ahmed Idrissi, Director of the Arabic program at Purdue University and longtime member of the West Lafayette community.

The mission of the West Lafayette Public Library is to serve the community by providing educational and service opportunities for them in order to better their understanding and appreciation for our society.
