Event Details

Elkhart County Parks and the Elkhart County Historical Museum invite students to dig into history with a hands-on exploration of archaeology. Participants in “Archaeology 101” will discover what an archaeologist does, handle real artifacts, get their hands dirty with excavating activities, and learn the value of studying archaeology.

This program is recommended for children ages 8 to 12. The entire program takes place outdoors, so participants should dress accordingly.
