Tom grew up on a farm outside of Batesville, Ind., where he developed a love for creativity and the humanities. He’s a 2010 graduate of Herron School of Art and Design, where he gained real-world experience working alongside career artists. While still in school, he completed a series of large-scale sculpture commissions across the Midwest.
As creative technologist, Tom works on making sure Indiana Humanities is looking our best online and off. He is focused on increasing our visual presence through video, photography and graphics. His previous job experiences have had him handling dynamite, transforming parking lots into gardens and leading a marching band through downtown Indianapolis.
Tom and his wife, Jenna, are parents two future leaders, small fruit gardeners and always working on some big home rennovation project. You can find Tom most weekends riding his bike, reading about sports, and maybe even playing one.
