Tom grew up on a farm outside of Batesville, Ind., where he developed a love for creativity and the humanities. He’s a 2010 graduate of Herron School of Art and Design where he gained real world experience working alongside career artists. While still in school, he completed a series of large-scale sculpture commissions across the midwest.
As multimedia manager, Tom works on making sure Indiana Humanities is looking our best online and off. He is focused on increasing our visual presence through video, photography and graphics. His previous job experiences have had him handling dynamite, transforming parking lots into gardens and leading a marching band through downtown Indianapolis.
Tom and his wife, Jenna, are parents to a rambunctious toddler, front yard gardeners and beekeepers. You can find him most weekends riding his bike, playing old-timey base ball (no gloves!) and kayaking up and down the White River.
