Later this spring, Indiana Humanities will launch a new thematic initiative focused on the ways we shape the environment and it shapes us. To help Hoosiers understand and talk about our relationships to the natural world and the implications of climate change, we will offer a speakers bureau of compelling talks and workshops rooted in the humanities and led by Indiana scholars and experts.
Indiana Humanities will offer more than $215,000 in grants in 2021, continuing to provide opportunities for smaller rapid-response funding and larger grants that support innovative and collaborative public humanities programs. This group meets monthly on Zoom to talk about recent popular science books. A local scientist whose research relates to the book topic will join us to share insights and help guide the conversation.
