April is National Poetry Month, and for the past several years Indiana Humanities has teamed up with Indiana’s Poet Laureate to spotlight Indiana poets and poetry in general.
This year, we’re partnering with Indiana Poet Laureate Adrian Matejka for four thematic weeks—complete with interviews with Indiana poets and spotlights on poetry devices such as imagery and metaphor.
This month we’re also featuring the work of slam poet Adam Henze through a series of FrankenSlam Frankenfilms. Adam won our 2016 contest to become the Official Track Poet of the 100th Running of The Indianapolis 500 and is active in our Frankenstein Speakers Bureau for One State / One Story: Frankenstein.
