Next Indiana was a three-year thematic initiative that led up to Indiana’s bicentennial in 2016. As we celebrated, we focused on the future and asked: What do we want the next 200 years to look like? We used our programs around the state to encourage Hoosiers to think, read and talk about the people, places and ideas that will shape the next 200 years.

Programs included ALL-IN Block Parties across the state, discussion toolkits, a Next Indiana Bookshelf of Indiana texts, a podcast series that explored ethical questions that have been raised by fascinating moments in Indiana’s history and more.

Are you ALL-IN?

A signature program of Next Indiana was ALL-IN, which started as an online "competition" to inspire us to learn more about Indiana, connect with one another and make our state even better. The online experience morphed into ALL-IN Block Parties.
