Marcia Adams - Christmas in the Heartland

Marcia Adams of Fort Wayne, Indiana is an award-winning food columnist and culinary expert, best known for her popular PBS cooking programs and her prize-winning cookbooks on Amish and Midwestern cooking.   She hosted Marcia Adams’ Kitchen, a 26-part WBGU-PBS series that featured heirloom recipes along with regional history and culture.  Adams is a recognized authority on Amish foods and folkways as well as Midwestern cuisine.  Her books include:  Cooking From Quilt Country: Hearty Recipes from Amish and Mennonite Kitchens (1988); Heartland: The Best of the Old and the New from Midwest Kitchens (1991); Christmas in the Heartland (1992); Heirloom Recipes: Yesterday’s Favorites, Tomorrow’s Treasures (1994); Recipes Remembered (1995).
