Looking for another way to fight hunger? The third annual IUPUI Hunger Banquet will be held on Sunday, April 3, from 6-8 p.m. in the IUPUI Campus Center, Room 450. The Hunger Banquet is a fundraiser and advocacy event to raise awareness about world hunger. All proceeds of this year’s event will benefit the IU-Kenya Orphans and Vulnerable Children’s Program and the Tumaini Children’s Center in Eldoret, Kenya.

This year’s keynote speaker is Dave Miner, National Chairman of the Board of Bread for the World. The banquet will also feature a number of entertainment groups and booths showcasing the work of other IUPUI and Indianapolis organizations. Guests will be seated in first, second and third world dining areas with ethnic cuisine to represent the food available in each of those settings.

Student tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Non-student tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Learn more, here.
