Lat week was National Library Week! And here at Indiana Humanities, we have a library of our own! Novel Conversations is a free lending library that sends out over 400 titles to book clubs and reading groups all over the state.

The book list includes titles that fit right into our focus on innovation as part of our Spirit of Competition theme. If you’re wanting a good read about an innovative Hoosier, check out Eli Lilly: A Life, 1885-1977 or On Her Own Ground: The Life and Times of Madam C.J. Walker. There’s also a biography of one of the most well-known innovators of our time, Steve Jobs, aptly titled Steve Jobs. Interested in cooking? Read about Julia Child and how she innovated cooking television in My Life in France.

There’s something for everyone in the Novel Conversations library, especially if you’re looking to get inspired by these historic innovators!
