Wilma Gibbs Moore Informational Webinar
Join Indiana Humanities on a webinar to learn about this year’s Wilma Gibbs Moore Fellowship.
Event Details
Indiana Humanities is pleased to offer the Wilma Gibbs Moore Fellowship, which provides $5,000 stipends to support new humanities research that explores anti-Black racial injustice and structural racism in Indiana and that considers how Black Hoosiers have responded.
College/university professors, graduate students, independent scholars, and research teams are invited to apply. We welcome proposals from across the fields of humanities inquiry, including but not limited to history, literature, philosophy, cultural studies, religious studies, art history, folklore, ethnomusicology, and gender studies, as well as humanistic social sciences such as political science, sociology, and anthropology. Applications are due April 30, 2025. Indiana Humanities will accept draft proposals through Feb. 28, 2025, and will provide feedback by Mar. 31, 2025.
This webinar will provide an overview of the fellowship and details on how to apply. We’ll also invite previous fellows to share details of their projects and to offer insights into the fellowship experience.
