Event Details
Join the Indiana Historical Society Local History Services Department and Indiana Humanities for a free in-person regional meeting on the topic of the upcoming U.S. Semiquincentennial. As part of a year-long collaboration, this conversation will help prepare Hoosier public historians, librarians, educators, and others for the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. We’ll discuss news about planning at the state and national level and brainstorm local ideas.
This in-person visit to the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site will encourage conversations about how engaging with the 250th can create meaningful programming in your community. While there, you will also be invited to tour the site and learn from our host museum.
This event is free to attend; please RSVP to localhistoryservices@indianahistory.org.
