Enjoy tea and light refreshments while joining art historian Dr. Lara Kuykendall, director of the Ball State School of Art, for an engaging exploration of the work and legacy of lesser-known Indiana artist Constance Coleman Richardson. Drawing from her contribution to The Unforgettables by Charles C. Eldredge—a volume that brings together leading scholars to celebrate overlooked artists—Dr. Kuykendall will highlight Richardson’s place in art history and examine why rediscovering these voices matters today.
