The Smithsonian’s traveling exhibition, Voices and Votes: Democracy in America, will continue its tour of Indiana at the Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau where it will be on display from May 16-June 28, 2026. The exhibition gives an in-depth look on America’s democracy and brings discussions about democracy to local communities. Host organizations will present a companion exhibition and series of programs in their communities during the exhibit’s six-week visit.

The exhibit will tour the seven small towns across Indiana during the Semiquincentennial, which commemorates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Learn more about the tour and locations here.
