The New Castle–Henry County Public Library is sponsoring Henry County Reads, a community-wide read of the classic gothic novel Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. The library will distribute 500 free copies of the book (pick up yours at the main circulation desk) and will offer several related programs.
On October 13, the Art Association of Henry County hosts a Rebecca reader’s retreat. Those taking part in the community read can visit the gallery, view the art and take a walk around the park, enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, and take time to read and/or chat about Rebecca.
