Event Details
The Quilters Hall of Fame presents an exhibition of quilts by Hubert Ver Mehren, who this year will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as a Heritage Honoree in recognition of his significant impact on the quilt world in the 1930s. Ver Mehren’s quilt patterns are considered some of the most complex and dramatic designs of the day. Ver Mehren marketed his patterns anonymously or under pseudonyms and is largely unknown, so this exhibition will help bring his work to light. The exhibition runs from May 6 to July 26. The Hall of Fame is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission is free on Saturday, June 14.
