The Black Legacy Project of Wayne County Indiana hosts a panel discussion titled “Making Black History Accessible: Our Future.”
Panelists will discuss the closing of the yearlong museum exhibit Our Legacy: 1800 and Beyond and what the exhibit has meant to both Wayne County’s broader community and its Black community. The panel will also explore what next steps the community should take to celebrate local Black history and achievement. A reception will follow.
The program takes place in the Wayne County Historical Museum’s Community Room. The museum will offer free admission from noon to 4 p.m. on the day of the panel discussion.
