To commemorate the passing of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the City of Bloomington’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration Commission will host a series of events in early April. On April 5, members of the community and the city’s MLK commissioners will facilitate a discussion of Martin Luther King Jr.’s book Why We Can’t Wait at Morgenstern Books. Kid-friendly activities such as arts and crafts centered on the values and teachings of MLK will be available.
