Indiana Humanities Grants Workshop: Vincennes
Learn about Indiana Humanities, the grants and programming stipends we offer, the types of activities we fund, and tips on how to submit a successful application.
Event Details
Indiana Humanities provides grants to help tax-exempt organizations create engaging public humanities programs in communities across the Hoosier State.
In this 90-minute session, we’ll introduce you to our organization, highlight the grants and programming stipends we offer, describe the types of activities we fund, and offer tips on how to submit a successful application. We’ll also share information about other groups that offer grants for cultural programming and will allow time for you to ask questions and discuss your ideas.
Space is limited and registration is required (click on the RSVP link above).
The workshop takes place from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., our workshop host, the Red Skelton Museum, will screen Abbott and Costello’s The Naughty Nineties as part of its Ha-Ha Film Comedy Duos series. We’ll provide dinner for those interested in staying, touring the museum, and watching the film. Look for dinner and film-screening options on the registration page.
Please note that Indiana Humanities awards grants for public programs in the humanities fields (history, literature, languages, archaeology, philosophy, ethics, etc.). To preview the types of activities we fund (and determine whether this workshop will be helpful to you), we encourage you to visit our grants page. You may also email grants@indianahumanities.org for more information.
