Indiana Avenue Walking Tour

Event Details
Herron School of Art and Design art history students are teaming up with Sampson Levingston of Through2Eyes to host an informational walking tour of Indiana Avenue with a subsequent discussion based on themes from the book All That She Carried.
Leading the tour, Mr. Levingston, will focus on uncovering the hidden history of Indiana Avenue illustrating how what’s here now can tell us about what once was. Students will lead the discussion relating how materials of the past can tell us about the people and cultures that used them.
The walking tour will take place on Sunday, April 14 starting at 1PM at the Madam Walker Legacy Center.
