Fiber Revival at Beck’s Mill
Hosted by Friends of Beck’s MillVisit Beck’s Mill, an 1864 gristmill in Washington County, to learn about its historic water-powered wool processing and to watch demonstrations in sheep shearing, spinning, felting, dyeing, weaving, quilting, crocheting and knitting.

Beck’s Mill, an 1864 gristmill in Washington County, hosts Fiber Revival, a daylong program that offers guests the opportunity to explore the mill’s unique early 1800s wool-carding equipment and learn about its historic water-powered wool processing. Regional fiber artists will host demonstrations and hands-on activities in crocheting, knitting, weaving, natural dyeing, needle felting and spinning. As part of Fiber Revival, the Steven’s Memorial Museum in Salem will open its pioneer loom house and will display antique textiles and clothing.
Admission is $5 for adults and free for those under 16 with a paid adult.
