Earth Day featuring Frederick “Fritz” Davis

Science Central will host various community partners including Indiana Humanities speaker Fritz Davis. Professor Davis’ talk, “Rachel Carson and the Wonder of Nature,” will explore the feeling of surprise and curiosity in response to the natural world that was the inspiration for writer and naturalist Rachel Carson. Visitors will also be able to engage in a variety of hands-on activities relating to conservation. Science Central will also be partnering with another local environmental organization to encourage visitors to become citizen scientists through participation in the City Nature Challenge using the iNaturalist app.
