Event Details

The Association for Practical and Professional Ethics (APPE) hosts an interactive one-day ethics training program, called Deliber8, in partnership with the Center for Practical Ethics at the University of Mississippi and hosted by the Prindle Institute for Ethics at DePauw University.

Designed for business, nonprofit and government leaders, the workshop focuses on ethical reasoning and deliberation in order to:

  • Help leaders make tough ethical decisions
  • Provide them with tools for talking through ethical disagreements
  • Promote a culture of ethical responsibility within their businesses and organizations

With plenty of time for networking, discussion and hands-on guidance from ethics experts, participants will gain a robust set of tools and information to better navigate ethical disagreements and challenges within their organizations and professional life.

Tentative Schedule
9–9:30 a.m. | Check-In and Networking
9:30–11:30 a.m. | Morning Session
11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. | Lunch
12:30–2:30 p.m. | Afternoon Session
2:45– 3:15 p.m. | Ethics Bowl Demonstration
3:15–4 p.m. | Judge Training (optional)

Cost/Waivers
Registration is $15 and space is limited. APPE will offer a limited number of registration waivers as well as a limited number of travel reimbursements for mileage.
