Event Details

Conner Prairie invites you to tune in as it hosts Curious Conversations, a series of talks by experts on Indiana history, covering topics in the areas of natural science, history, folklore, and civics.

March’s program features Bryan Glover, who will discuss the history of the Roberts Settlement, an African American community that began in the 1830s in northern Hamilton County.

Glover is a descendant of the Roberts Settlement’s founders and serves as vice president and a board trustee for the settlement. He has directed the organization’s efforts to create the Legacy Walk at Roberts Settlement, an outdoor exhibit about Indiana’s Black pioneers. Glover is a retired small-business owner whose career includes many years as a media and entertainment corporate executive in Los Angeles; he has lived in Noblesville since 2007.

To register for the talk, click on the RSVP link above. The program takes place in Conner Prairie’s Prairie House, #38 on this map.
