Arab Indianapolis: A Hidden History, an official selection of the 31st annual Heartland International Film Festival, features IUPUI professor and historian Dr. Edward E. Curtis IV as he explores stories of Arab Americans across Indianapolis through food, health, religion and more. Following the screening of the hour-long film, a community discussion will be facilitated by Hiba Alalami, the inaugural director of the Indiana Muslim Advocacy Network.

This program is part of a series organized by St. Luke’s on the Christian Orthodox Church. The series also includes a lecture on Christian Orthodoxy by Father Anthony of St. George’s in Fishers and a tour of St. George’s, which is featured in the film. Learn more at https://www.stlukesumc.com/.
