Arab Indianapolis: A Hidden History, an official selection of the 31st annual Heartland International Film Festival, features IUPUI professor and historian Dr. Edward E. Curtis IV as he explores stories of Arab Americans across Indianapolis through food, health, religion and more. Following the screening of the hour-long film, a community discussion will be facilitated by All Souls’ Community Ministry Affiliate, Elizabeth Valencia.

All Souls is an interfaith and secular congregation that prioritizes community service partnerships and grassroots social justice activism. They are fully committed to creating a more inclusive, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive community. In service of that goal, they regularly host programs that include local activists, artists and authors and with this program they to inspire attendees to be part of the fabric of the city, and work for economic, educational and spacial equity.
