Devour Downtown Indy!

Twice a year the Indiana Restaurant Association gives Indy residents an excuse to take a bite out of Downtown Indy’s best restaurants without the guilty bill afterwards. This tasty celebration hosts 42 reasons to try a new restaurant downtown — ranging from Circle City favorites like St.Elmo’s Steak House to new additions like Mass Ave’s Mesh. Devour Downtown Winterfest’s participating restaurants feature prix fixe 3-course menus for $30 per dinner or 2 for $30.

Last year’s event allowed my frugal student income to indulge in my first visit to St.Elmo’s (and to sample the infamous shrimp cocktail!). Hmm…R Bistro, Fogo de Chao, Greek Islands…where will Devour Downtown take me this year?

Indianapolis’ biggest showcase of food and drink starts today and runs through February 5.
