Civility Book: Of Mice and Men

In this book, civility is a strong feature. This is shown when George is forced to make the decision of what to do with Lennie.

Is it civilized to kill someone to save them from a potentially worse death? To kill so someone else can’t?

Of Mice and Men, is available through Indiana Humanities Novel Conversations lending library. Request a set (for free!) for your book club today.

In September, October and November, Indiana Humanities is exploring the topic of “civility,” as part of its Spirit of Competition theme.
