Anthony Bourdain: Medium Raw

Anthony Bourdain (who’s coming to Indy Sept. 30 with friend and chef Eric Ripert), has just released Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook. We were first in line to pick up several copies of the new memoir from the colorful and cultural celebrity chef.

It’s been ten years since Kitchen Confidential, but flipping through the pages, we see it’s the same Tony. F-bombs and drug references; frank discussions and sharp-tongue statements. Ah, Tony.

It’s one of the books I know we’ll be quoting around the office, and laughing out loud as we try to knock out a few pages over lunch. Pick up a copy, and then put July 19 on your calendar: That’s when tickets go on sale for “An Evening with Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert.”
