The first Sunday of the month, the Allen County–Fort Wayne Historical Society presents the George R. Mather Sunday Lecture Series. The series offers presentations by experts on history and other humanities subjects, often illuminating the role that Allen County people and events have played in the broader scope of national and international affairs.

This month’s lecture is “Genealogical Research Using Church Records” presented by Dr. Curtis R. Sylvester, past president of the Indiana Genealogical Society. Dr. Sylvester will offer guidance on how to research ancestors using the records of Jewish and Christian congregations and archives.
