Event Details
Throughout the summer, Decay Devils is hosting a series of activities in downtown Gary that help the people of northwest Indiana learn about the history of Gary, appreciate its diversity and celebrate its culture.
Ride to Preservation is a five-mile bike ride through the city. Participants will see landmarks and art while experiencing the most photographic vantage points of the downtown area. The ride takes place from 10 a.m. to noon CDT and kicks off at the Hudson and Campbell Sports and Fitness Center at 455 Massachusetts St.
After the ride, join Decay Devils at Fifth and Broadway Park, located in the 500 blook of Broadway, from noon to 2:30 p.m. CDT and learn about plans for the park’s overhaul. Jodi’s Italian Ice Factory will serve up treats, and the first 100 attendees will receive two free scoops.
