Indiana Humanities invites you to join a community screening and discussion of the film Arab Indianapolis: A Hidden History.

Arab Indianapolis: A Hidden History, an official selection of the 31st annual Heartland International Film Festival, features IUPUI professor and historian Dr. Edward E. Curtis IV as he explores stories of Arab Americans across Indianapolis through food, health, religion and more. Following the screening of the hour-long film, a community discussion will be facilitated by Andrea Watts of the Indianapolis Film Project. Andrea will be joined by the CCO of the Indianapolis City-County Council, Sara Hindi, and Senator Fady Quaddora, who was featured in the film.
The mission of the Indianapolis Film Project is to enrich the culture of our city through independent film exhibition, film education, and community engagement. They also operate the Kan-Kan Cinema where the screening will be held. Learn more at https://kankanindy.com/about/.
