Event Details

“Homegoing: Immigrant Experiences in Indiana” will feature a panel discussion with recent immigrants from Myanmar and Palestine. The panelists will discuss their experiences and motivation to migrate, establish roots and navigate new geographies, as well as their socio-cultural experiences of adjustment. Dr. Milind Thakar, a professor in the University of Indianapolis’s history and political science department, will moderate.

The panel discussion will take place in the University of Indianapolis’s Health Pavilion Auditorium, Room 138.  A reception with appetizers and drinks will follow.

All guests are asked to abide by University policies regarding masks and distancing.
