As America’s 250th anniversary celebrations continue throughout 2026, the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus is turning the spotlight toward home.
On October 29, the chorus presents American Voices, Indiana Stories, an evening of music, storytelling, and history exploring the remarkable Hoosiers whose creativity, resilience, service, and innovation have helped shape our nation.
Presented by Crossroad, the chorus’s new chamber ensemble, the concert brings Indiana stories to life through music and historical reflection, connecting our state’s past with the larger American story. The program is curated by the IMC’s Joseph Perkins Jr., with historical research and interpretation by Dr. Nicholas Johnson, associate professor of musicology at Butler University.
