EkFreePeoplesBe, in partnership with the Butler University Center for Citizenship and Community, will host a writing workshop that features talks by formerly incarcerated individuals on how Etheridge Knight’s works have influenced their writing and lives. Debra Des Vignes, founder of the Indiana Prison Writers Workshop, will facilitate, and presenters will include authors DeMarr Porter, Calvin Sarver and Scott Harris. Refreshments will be provided.
