Join the Center for Independent Documentary and House Painter Media as they premiere Walkable USA, a documentary about the efforts to reinvigorate historic downtown Hammond, Indiana, through walkable urban design and historic preservation. Attendees will get a first look at the hour-long film before it airs on Lakeshore Public Media.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a reception. Opening remarks begin at 6:30 p.m., and the film screens from 7 to 8 p.m. All times are Central Standard Time.
