The documentary film What Happened at Benham West: African American Stories of Community, Displacement, and Hope screens at the Goshen Theater on Wednesday, November 29, at 6:30 p.m. The film contains interviews with 17 elders from Elkhart about their experience of the Benham West neighborhood, which was cleared by the city in the 1970s. This free event is organized by Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary with support from the Goshen College Center for Community Engagement.
