Hosted by Indiana Repertory TheatreExplore the themes of the Indiana Repertory Theatre’s production of Nina Simone: Four Women during a post-performance community conversation.
Event Details
After its presentation of Nina Simone: Four Women on Feb. 8, the Indiana Repertory Theatre (IRT) will host a community conversation centered on A Black Woman’s Guide to Getting Free, written by IRT community ambassador Tamara Winfrey-Harris. Winfrey-Harris will moderate a panel with LaShawnda Crowe-Storm, Manon Voice, and Jessica Louise that focuses on the themes explored in both the production and Winfrey-Harris’s book. Together, the panelists will unpack the six pillars of living free as a Black woman, offering guidance on how to live authentically and unapologetically while journeying toward self-discovery and freedom.
Admission to the post-show discussion is free with the purchase of a ticket. For ticketing information, visit the IRT’s website or call the box office at 317.635.5252.
