Be among the first to experience There at the Founding: Indiana, an all-new interactive historical strategy game developed by the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, at a public playthrough session.

Working with other players as a frontier community, you’ll build a town from the ground up, navigate pivotal moments in Indiana and American history, and make the difficult decisions that shaped life on the early frontier. Every choice matters as your community balances education, order, morale, population, and precious resources on the road to Indiana’s admission as the 19th state.

Following the game, we’ll invite participants to stay for a brief discussion and share their thoughts. As this is our first playthrough, your feedback will help us fine-tune the experience before its official launch. While the game is complete and fully playable, your insights will play an important role in making it even stronger for future audiences.

Whether you’re a history enthusiast, board game fan, educator, or simply looking for a unique evening out, this is your chance to help shape a one-of-a-kind experience while being among the first to play it.
