Join Carmel Clay Public Library for a movie screening of The Color Purple (2023). Popcorn will be served. Please bring your own nonalcoholic beverage.

The event is free but registration is required.

Movie synopsis: A woman faces many hardships in her life, but ultimately finds extraordinary strength and hope in the unbreakable bonds of sisterhood. Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Alice Walker. Starring Fantasia Barrino and Taraji P. Henson. Runtime 2 hours 21 minutes.
