Event Details

What happened to Evansville’s Reitz Home Museum after the Reitz family was no longer living in the home and before it became a museum? Find out as Sister Rebecca Abel, OSB, presents on the history of the home from 1944 to 1972, the period when the Archdiocese of Evansville owned it. Abel will present on the historic preservation work done to the home in those years, and she’ll include anecdotes on the brief few months she lived in the home during that time. The presentation will delight those who enjoy history, decorative arts, and historic preservation.

Note that this program takes place in Central time.
