The New Castle–Henry County Public Library is sponsoring Henry County Reads, a community-wide read of 1776 by David McCollough. The library will distribute free copies of the book (pick up yours at the main circulation desk) and will offer several related programs.
At this event, the library is partnering with Ball State PBS to screen excerpts from Ken Burns’s acclaimed documentary series The American Revolution, followed by a community discussion exploring the people, events, and lasting impact of the Revolutionary War. Light refreshments will be served.
