Researching Ancestors of Color with Renate Sanders

Join genealogist Renate Sanders at Lake County Public Library to learn how to research ancestors of color, including formerly enslaved and free people of color. Participants will learn which record types and websites are most helpful in this type of research and how to extract data about people of color from various document types. This program will be held in Meeting Room A of the Merrillville branch.
