Event Details

The 12th Annual Monarch Festival held at Eagle Marsh Nature Preserve will feature speakers, educational activities, vendors that celebrate pollinators, and conservation partners. Visitors can learn about the incredible life history of the monarch butterfly and discover what each person can do to help this imperiled species. Each participant can install a native plant that supports pollinators in the marsh and take a free plant home. One of the speakers, Dr. Nancy Germano, will describe the history of wetlands in Indiana in a presentation supported through Indiana Humanities’ Unearthed speakers bureau. This free event is ADA accessible and handicap parking is available.
