Event Details
Historic New Harmony continues its decades-long tradition of inviting elementary schoolchildren to learn what life was like in New Harmony, Indiana, in the early 1800s. Students spend a day learning 19th-century history by watching as historic interpreters portray blacksmiths, weavers, and artisans and demonstrate how their trades, crafts, and skills were essential to sustaining New Harmony during early years.
Note that this program takes place in Central time.
