Kan-Kan Cinema presents “Black in America: The Heritage Series,” featuring films about the Black community’s long struggle against structural racism, its pursuit of equality and the rich cultural life it has created despite barriers. In this installment of the series, the cinema will screen With All Deliberate Speed, a documentary that gives voice to those who experienced the desegregation of Great Mills High School in Maryland between 1958 and 1972. After the screening, series curator Clayton Hamilton will facilitate a discussion with the audience.
