Conner Prairie invites you to tune in as it hosts Curious Conversations, a series of talks by experts on Indiana history, covering topics in the areas of natural science, history, folklore, and civics.

July’s program features Emily Rapoza, director of library and archives at the Great American Songbook Foundation.

Rapoza will speak on African American musicians in the American Songbook, discussing how their work has been preserved—or not—throughout time and highlighting how Black artists have shaped the nation’s cultural identity, connecting artistic expression to broader narratives of citizenship, history, and inclusion

To register for the talk, click on the RSVP link above. The program takes place in Conner Prairie’s Museum Experience Center.
