The Food Exodus Project

HealthVisions Midwest has produced The Food Exodus Project, a documentary that raises awareness about food deserts and barriers to food access within Fort Wayne’s underserved communities. The 40-minute film includes insightful interviews with community leaders and advocates, city officials and residents who live in food desert areas. HealthVisions Midwest will screen the film at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 24 at Come As You Are Community Church. After the screening, organizers will host a conversation featuring a panel discussion and a question-and-answer session.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers are taking precautions; masks, social distancing and temperature checks are required.
